Father’s Day Gift Guide!

Unfortunately, no dad I know has hair that he needs to style.  Hubs has kept the same “military man” cut for years now and my own father is as bald as they come.  However, I have seen plenty of dads out there in desperate need of a little hairapy.  Axe, thank God, has stepped in and developed several great products that help men tame their unruly locks.  With products like their 2-in-1 and anti-dandruff shampoos, spiking lotion and more the days of unsexy bedhead just might be over.  Sporting cool names like armor, lure, whatever and charged these products smell manly and are definitely NOT girly items that are up for sharing!

I know one thing that any dad should want (and will ask for if he has any common sense) is to be able to spend a quiet afternoon at home with the family that made it possible for him to be a father in the first place.   Hasbro  has games for just this such occasion to spice up a lazy day afternoon.  With games like Battleship, Risk, Connect 4, and the new Monopoly Deal, the whole family is gauranteed a good time!  Now to find a way to FINALLY kick hub’s butt in Battleship and Risk.  It is soooo going to happen. 

Don’t forget the metaphoric sprinkles on the Father’s Day cake!  Hallmark is a no brainer for any holiday and Father’s Day is no exception.  This year, the boys will be giving Daddy a Hallmark card with sound!  Hallmark has a wide selection of cards (from Looney Tunes to Disney Princesses) that allow you or your children to speak their own message to daddy.  I personally love this idea, especially since the boys can’t write yet!  I think this is going to be a favorite gift since it doesn’t get much more personal or heartfelt than hearing the little ones telling you how much they love and appreciate you instead of reading a pre-printed message.  For total convenience, you can buy Hallmark cards online!  They’ll even address, stamp, and mail them for you! For even more of a last minute need, you can always go for one of their e-cards, too!
